Low Fertility Rate in Asia under the Trend of Gender Equality

China is a well-known populous country in the world and has implemented a family planning policy for a long time in the past. However, in recent years, China has gradually relaxed its fertility policy, which is also closely related to the low fertility rate in most countries in Asia. This article will review previous researches on the issue of low fertility in Asia and its multiple connections with gender equality, and propose solutions to the issue of low fertility from three perspectives: government policy, social care, and individual awareness.
