Local culture is the fruit of material wealth and spiritual wealth born out of human civilization, which is integrated with different natural environments and social factors, so it is branded with "uniqueness". Regional specials that contain cultural connotations are inseparable from people's lives. As a means of realizing commodity value and use value, packaging plays an extremely important role in the fields of circulation and communication; therefore, packaging designs which embody regional culture plays an active role in promotion. Therefore, this paper takes commodity packaging as a foothold and discusses how to embody local culture on packaging. Taking Xiamen's special-Shacha sauce as an example, this paper deeply thinks about the regional culture and apply it to the design of product packaging.
