The thesis takes the dormitory building project as the research object and analyzes the application of BIM technology in project construction management. Based on the BIM5D building information model, the construction schedule and project cost are associated and integrated with the three-dimensional model. By calculating, simulating and optimizing the demand for labor, materials, equipment, etc. in the construction phase, a demand plan for labor, materials, and machinery is established to form a project cost plan. The study found that BIM technology gives full play to the advantages of visualization, simulation, coordination, Information etc., and truly guides the construction in the early stage, controls the construction of the process, and checks the results of the construction, and realizes the refined management of the project.
